Meet Les Holmes, Andrew Zoniac and Mark Raynor who rode 150 miles to Cadwell Park on Tuesday for their first ever trackday - one of our Road Bike Only trackdays in association with Bike Magazine. As subscribers to Bike they have always liked the idea of getting on track but did not want to share their track time with any race or track bikes. "We saw the advert and thought the 'road bike only' element was such a draw that we thought we'd give it a go" said Les who rode his R1200 GS to the event. Andrew who attended the day on his Yamaha Fazer couldn't rate the day highly enough "a superb day on track" whilst Mark who rides an Aprilia Mille said that it was a "very well organised and run day - even the weather!". The only time the trio have been remotely near the circuit is when they drove past once on the way to get fish and chips down the road but now all three will be back for more! The road bike only trackday iniative was the brainchild of the Bike magazine team with the mission statement of offering trackdays exclusively to road riders. This means no track bikes, vans or tyre warmers. Due to the popularity of the inital three road bike trackdays, we have now added another event at Cadwell Park on Friday 15 October.
