Our Rider Development Programme will help you find the skills you never knew you had!

If you've never done a trackday before then RDP1 is a great place to start. You'll take away all the skills you need to take part in a trackdays on a regular basis.

Alternatively, if you have attended a few trackdays and still class yourself in the novice group then RDP1 will give you all the confidence you need to take your riding skills to the next stage. Those that have attended a Club MSV Novice Only Trackday or Sessioned Trackday in the novice group will have had a brief insight into what RDP1 is all about in the classroom briefings.

The day includes

  • Express signing on
  • A private briefing in your own garage
  • Your own instructor to follow during your familiarisation laps to personally show you the correct 'racing line' on circuit
  • Approximately 80 minutes of one to one tuition with your instructor which is split into four sessions - two * 20 minute on circuit instruction and two * 20 minute debriefing sessions in the pit lane.
  • Three group classroom sessions (maximum of three riders per group)covering techniques described below.
  • A further four x 20 minute sessions on circuit to practice the disciplines covered
  • An end of day de-briefing with an analysis sheet to take away with you detailing how you have progressed throughout the day and areas to work on in the future

Typical Day

When you arrive at the circuit you will be assigned your instructor who will be dedicated to you and two other students exclusively for the day. You'll be fast-tracked through signing on before being escorted to your own garage where you will receive a private briefing covering everything you'll need to know about the day.

This will also give your instructor a chance to find out from you if there are any specific things that you are looking to work on or any goals you're trying to achieve from the course. If you don't know - don't worry. They'll help you identify the areas where you can improve and help you achieve a level of riding that you never thought possible.

In one day we will typically cover the following disciplines but remember - the day is all about improving your riding so the instruction you receive will be personally tailored to your ability.
